Freeride and off-piste courses in the Massif des Aravis from La Clusaz.
A course for good off-piste skiing, couloirs, free ski and powder snow with a guide from the ski lifts in La Clusaz. The Aravis range is certainly one of the best spots for skiers wishing to practice freeride off the track.

Level required

We will be on non-secure nearby off-piste, so it is essential to be able to ski in all snow and all terrain downhill on slopes at 35 ° / 40 ° max, carry your 6 kg backpack , and walk for 30 minutes to 1 hour consecutively over 300m of elevation to access certain slopes.

General overview

The Aravis range is located in the Northern Pre-Alps, it is a limestone mountain range whose highest point is Pointe Perçée at 2752m. A relief mixing vast limestone Lapiaz and magnificent coniferous forest. In the heart of the massif there are 3 ski resorts well known to the general public: La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod-Merdassier. These areas offer off-piste and freeride skiers an incredible playground for finding powder snow skiing as long as you walk a minimum. Great off-piste like the Combe de Bella-Cha or the Porte des Aravis. If you are looking for a complete off-piste ski stage with a wide variety of terrain (corridors, valleys and skiing in the forest), don’t hesitate!
