Training necessary to feel comfortable in big races, "climbing" or climbing remains the most popular sport to reach the summits.
You will work your concentration, your flexibility and your breathing, it is a very complete sport which will allow you to progress in mountain and in mountaineering, we learn to put the feet! Come and discover the sculpted limestone of the Annecy mountains and the Bornes-Aravis Massif for a long journey.

Level required

To climb on a large route you must already be initiated to climbing, the large routes around Annecy are level 5a to 5c for the easiest, it is recommended to have this level to climb second, and be able to climb 4 to 5 lengths.

General overview

In general we leave for the day for a long route from 4 to 12 lengths depending on your level. I prefer beautiful routes in the Aravis or Bornes range near Annecy or La Clusaz.
The setting is idyllic to discover or improve this activity, grooves, slabs or even holes in hyper-abrasive limestone will be there. At the bend of the pillars and cracks we will see vultures and other bearded vultures that nest on these cliffs.

Program

  • One day or Rock Climbing in Aravis

In general we choose together the main route that we will carry out according to your desires and your expectations. Whether on cornerers (adventure playground) or sport climbing I take the time to explain the basics of safety and for the more experienced, climbing first.
We move on the limestone from relay to relay at the rhythm of the difficulties by taking the time to contemplate the formidable panorama of the mountain ranges which surround us.
